Librarian of the Year Award

Establishing a Librarian of the Year award was first discussed at a September 26, 1991 board meeting. The idea was approved and the first librarian of the year was named in 1992.

2000 - Mike Jaugstetter (posthumously), ND State Librarian, Bismarck

1998 - Shelby Harken, Chester Fritz Library, University of North Dakota, Grand Forks

1997 - Dennis Page, Grand Forks Public Library, Grand Forks

1996 - Blanche Stangeland, Carrington Public Library, Carrington
