NDLA CONFERENCE T O U R S

The North Dakota Library Association (NDLA) is sponsoring two tours during the fall conference this September in Bismarck. The two tours are described below. You will have an opportunity to sign up for the tours when you register for the NDLA conference.

TOUR #1 CUSTER HOUSE AND FORT ABRAHAM LINCOLN, SOUTH OF MANDAN, ND

WHEN: Wednesday, September 24 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Meet in Hotel lobby at 5:30, van rides provided

WHERE: Tour Custer House, Barracks, Canteen; at 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm Tour New Mandan Public Library

COST: $5 per person, you pay at the Custer House but register on the conference registration so we can get a head count.

DINNER: You eat before you come. (There is a restaurant in the hotel, restaurants are nearby, as is a McDonalds.)

TOUR # 2 LEWIS AND CLARK INTERPRETIVE CENTER AND FORT MANDAN, WASHBURN, ND

WHEN: Saturday, September 27 9:00 am -2:00 pm
Meet in Hotel lobby at 9:00 am, private cars will have room for riders, or join the caravan in your own car.

WHERE: Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and Ft. Mandan, Washburn, ND

COST: $4 per person, you pay at the Center, but register on the conference registration so we can get a head count.
