MAKING A CASE FOR LIBRARIES

2004 NDLA Conference

International Inn, Minot

September 22-24, 2004

Planning for the 2004 NDLA Conference is in full swing and we want your program suggestions!  The theme for the conference is Making a Case for Libraries and we encourage you to incorporate that theme into your programming whenever possible.  Programs that focus on how librarians can market and advocate for their libraries with local citizens, groups, and officials; build and sustain grassroots support; and influence legislative issues at the local, state, and national levels would be especially appropriate.

Please complete this form as completely as possible.  Program suggestions must be submitted by Monday, May 3, 2004.

Please submit your proposals to: Marlene Anderson, NDLA President-elect and Conference Chair, via e-mail: Marlene.Anderson@bsc.nodak.edu or by mail: Bismarck State College Library, PO Box 5587, Bismarck, ND 58506-5587. For more information, call 701-224-5578.
