Theme: Evolution of the Library
With all the changes occurring in our profession - and the changes occurring in other professions which have a profound influence on ours - keeping up can be a major task. How do we find time to learn - and how do we identify where to learn it?
We hope that the answer to both these questions will be, “At the 2009 NDLA conference, of course!”
But in addition to learning at the conference, we hope that you will also be ready, willing, and able to teach. Have you taken a class that you would like to summarize for the group? Have you surveyed and analyzed a problem and want to share the results? Have you studied some issue, learned some computer program, or figured out a better way of doing something and are longing to tell someone about it? Here's your chance - become a presenter at the conference!
Please use the web form below to submit your presentation proposal for the 2009 North Dakota Library Association conference. Proposals should be submitted by April 14, 2009, and you will be notified about acceptance by April 28, 2009.
If you have any questions, please contact Laurie McHenry, Conference Chair, at lauriemchenry@mail.und.nodak.edu or 701-777-3475 or FAX 701-777-4956.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
